Now This Is Telling It Like It Really Is

Here In Copenhagen, Denmark

Only walked 7 miles today through the beautiful and

charming streets of Copenhagen. Love the folks,

temperament and lifestyle here. People seem happy and

content and really enjoy their downtime.

Won't bore everyone to death with all the beautiful and

historic things there are to see and do here. But I'm sure

glad it was on my bucket list. Copenhagen is a city

surrounded by water and Kanals. You can travel by

boat, public transportation, bicycle (most popular mode

of transportation), walk or regretfully drive your car

(I pity you if you do)

But no matter your mode it's always nice to return to your

hotel get a leg up and enjoy a kool  16oz. Carlsberg on draft.

Good morning John. I enjoyed Copenhagen too. A very neat and easy city to navigate.

You as well Sheila Anderson . Especially with that name. I'm having a challenge trying to conince these Scandinavian folks that I'm Dutch. They insist I'm Danish or Norwegian until I tell them that my last name used to be spelled Arendtsen. LOL!

Thanks Kathleen Daniels Especially when the concierge's lounge is still open and pouring freely and free.

Is it my imagination, or in that top photo of the pissoir, there is a little yellow sign that warns their is camera surveillance in the area???

Great eye Myrl Jeffcoat That is indeed! Not too uncommon over here. There's eyes everywhere and I'm not seeing too many mosques either. Mostly white and/or Asian.

But I don't feel the least bit threatened anywhere. About the only thing we've seen thus far are a lot of dirty streets. Folks just don't seem to find many recyclable containers so they just leave their empty bottles and containers on the streets.

But then I've been in a number of American cities i.e. Chicago, Detroit. Los Andeles, etc who aren't much better.
